What’s Not Covered

Accidents, theft, vandalism, or pre-existing faults
Vehicles without valid MOT or road tax
Incidents occurring prior to the policy inception date, or within the first 2 calendar days of policy purchase
Use as a taxi or private hire vehicle (separate policy available – see here)
Any incident occurring outside of the geographical limits UK (Gold), UK and Europe (Platinum and Single Trip*). Please see below for definition of geographical limits.

* With Single Trip cover, you are covered in the UK only during your direct travel between your home and UK port or Euro-Tunnel terminal once you have begun your pre-booked trip.
